I found this owl house in Champion Park tonight. It was the first time I had noticed it, although I've walked the trail several times. I stood around for about an hour, hoping for something to emerge. I had to leave just before dark so I could find my way back to my car. I plan on returning with a flashlight and a chair later this week.

ReplyDeleteGood picture! My guess it is empty though. Females will be scouting nesting boxes in November or so. That is when my box is usually staked out.
